From counted stacks to finished packs

The exact sequence depends on the bag, box, label and quality plan. A typical manual packing cell includes these four stages.

Receive the stack

Operators collect counted stacks from the staggered discharge area without interrupting upstream cutting and stacking.

Check product and count

Apply the agreed sampling, count verification and visible-quality checks before final packing.

Load the pack format

Transfer pads into the approved bag, box or other compatible container according to the work instruction.

Seal, label and case-pack

Complete the required closure, code, label, traceability and outer-case operations defined by the customer.

The KNK-310 main line does not automatically bag or seal the finished pads in its standard cutting-and-stacking scope. Confirm any downstream interface or packaging equipment as a separate project item.

Size the packing cell around the real pack task

Machine output alone does not determine staffing. Operators may also inspect, insert, seal, label, code and case-pack. The workflow should be time-studied using the intended packaging materials and work instructions.

Starting calculation: required stacks per minute ÷ sustainable completed packs per operator per minute. Then add realistic allowance for replenishment, inspection, breaks, rejects and changeover.
