⚙️ Products & Flexible Formats
Is the KNK-310 suitable for cosmetic and makeup remover cotton pads?
Yes. The KNK-310 is a flexible cotton pad making machine for cosmetic cotton pads, facial pads, makeup remover pads and cotton rounds. The final product structure still depends on the selected material, mold design, embossing pattern and edge-sealing requirement.
Can one machine produce round, square, oval and custom shapes?
Yes. The KNK-310 main machine can produce multiple shapes and sizes by changing the corresponding embossing, edge-sealing and cutting mold components, then loading the matched operating parameters. A new product drawing must be reviewed before the mold package and production layout are confirmed.
What does “310” mean in KNK-310?
“310” refers to the total 310 mm raw-material web width, not a fixed cotton pad diameter or length. The product shape and dimensions determine the mold, and the mold arrangement determines how many pads fit across the web. For example, a 70 × 75 mm square pad may use a four-across layout, while a Ø58 mm cotton round may use a five-across layout, subject to final engineering confirmation.
Can the machine produce wet compress pads or other specialty facial pads?
Potentially, yes. Specialty facial pad formats can be evaluated for the same KNK-310 platform, but compatibility is not determined by shape alone. KNK engineering must review the material construction, layer count, dimensions, embossing, edge structure and sample requirements before confirming the process and tooling.
🧵 Materials & Production Scope
What raw materials can the cotton pad machine process?
The KNK-310 is designed for compatible non-woven, spunlace and cotton-layer constructions used in cosmetic pad production. A typical reference range is 120–240 gsm, but the usable range depends on fiber composition, thickness, number of layers, tensile behavior and the required edge effect. Send material samples or a technical data sheet for confirmation.
Does the process require liquid glue?
The standard KNK-310 process uses controlled thermal embossing and edge-sealing methods for compatible multilayer materials rather than applying liquid glue in the forming area. Because bonding behavior varies by material construction, KNK will test or review the proposed material before confirming the final process settings.
Which production steps are automated?
The standard configuration automates material feeding, tension control, embossing, edge forming or sealing, cutting, counting and stacking. Final packing remains manual unless a separate packaging solution is engineered and included in the project scope.
How long does a prepared product changeover take?
A prepared mold and parameter changeover has a reference target of ≤45 minutes. Actual time depends on the product format, tooling package, operator training, access conditions and whether all replacement components and settings have been prepared in advance.
🏭 Factory Setup & Operation
How many operators are required?
Operator planning depends on production speed, material handling and the manual packing method. A typical line can be planned around two or more operators, but the final staffing recommendation should be based on the selected output, pack format and factory workflow.
What utility conditions are required for installation?
The current reference configuration requires a level industrial floor, AC 380 V / 50 Hz electrical supply, approximately 11 kW connected load and a stable 0.6–0.8 MPa compressed-air source. Final electrical standard, power load, air demand and site conditions must be confirmed on the approved technical specification before installation.
Do you provide factory layout and workflow planning?
Yes. KNK can review machine placement, material flow, operating access, packing space and maintenance clearance. Recommendations draw on real manufacturing feedback from Guangdong Little Cotton’s 48,000 m² production facilities, while the final layout is adapted to the customer’s building, local requirements and project scope.
🌍 Ordering, Delivery & Support
What information is needed before quotation?
Please send the target pad shape and dimensions, product drawing, material composition and weight, layer structure, embossing pattern, edge effect, expected output and packing method. KNK will use this information to review the mold structure, 310 mm web arrangement and suitable machine configuration.
What is the typical manufacturing lead time?
A standard project generally requires about 45–60 days for manufacturing, assembly and pre-shipment testing. Custom mold development, sample approval, special electrical requirements or added integration can change the schedule, so the contractual lead time is confirmed in the final quotation.
How are international shipping and export documents handled?
KNK can coordinate export packing, container loading and the commercial documents required for international shipment. Freight terms, destination charges, customs clearance responsibilities and any country-specific documents are confirmed with the buyer before dispatch.
Are overseas installation, training and warranty support available?
Yes. Remote commissioning guidance, operating materials and video support are available. On-site installation and operator training can also be arranged according to the destination, project scope and contract terms. The standard reference warranty is 12 months for covered core components; the final coverage and exclusions are defined in the sales contract.
