Questions Before Starting a New Format

Final feasibility depends on the product drawing, material behavior and the exact KNK equipment configuration.

Can one KNK-310 produce multiple cotton pad products?

Yes. The flexible-platform concept supports multiple formats through the corresponding tooling and parameter setup. Each new product still requires feasibility review, suitable molds and an approved operating configuration.

Does “310” mean a fixed cotton pad size?

No. It refers to the total raw-material web width of 310 mm. The pad size and shape are defined by the product requirement; the transverse lane count follows the approved tooling layout.

Can you reproduce a product from a physical sample?

A sample can support the review, but measurable specifications are still needed. The team may need dimensions, material information, performance criteria and approved tolerances before tooling is finalized.

Can we emboss our logo or a proprietary pattern?

Potentially, subject to artwork detail, roller geometry, material response and sample approval. Provide vector artwork and identify any protected or sensitive brand elements.

How long does a mold change take?

Changeover time depends on tooling design, product difference, cleaning, settings, inspection and operator training. The applicable method and target should be confirmed during the project rather than treated as a universal value.

Can existing third-party molds be used on a KNK machine?

Compatibility cannot be assumed. KNK must review the dimensions, mounting interface, cutting structure, operating condition and machine safety before confirming reuse or recommending new tooling.
